Dr. Sofia Linares L.Ac is Lina-East's founder and primary Acupuncturist centrally located in Tampa, Florida. Dr. Linares is a Nationally Board-Certified Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist certified by the National Commission for Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Dr. Linares attended East West College of Natural Medicine, graduating Summa Cum Laude. She is also an alumnus of the University of Southern Florida. During her studies, Sofia acquired vast knowledge about the human body's inner workings, public health, psychology, medical anthropology, and various methods to promote long-term health and wellness. Dr. Linares aims to generate a sense of trust and community with her patients by transforming their state of health through compassionate communication, patient education, and dedicated care. In addition, she strives to educate the community on preventative health measures and provide affordable and reliable health care to her patients, thus empowering them to take back control of their health.
