Hey there! I'm Dr. Sofia Linares, founder of Lina East Acupuncture. I'm a Board Certified Acupuncturist and Clinical Herbalist, licensed in Florida and nationally certified. My clinical focus includes sexual and reproductive health, anxiety, and digestive disorders.
Lina East Acupuncture, my mission is to foster a trusting and supportive community where compassionate communication and patient education empower you to take an active role in managing your health. I believe in making holistic healthcare not just a possibility, but a reality for everyone, by ensuring it is accessible and affordable.
My patients lovingly call me the "Witch-doctor," a generously accepted nod to my passion for herbal medicine and my flair for crafting one-of-a-kind tea blends and formulas. I’m here for the folks who feel left out or overlooked by mainstream healthcare, creating a warm, welcoming space where you can truly feel seen and supported. Outside the clinic, you’ll find me paddleboarding, salsa dancing, painting, or getting creative with ceramics & always bringing a little extra color and joy into everything I do.
Meet Zoie Torres

Hey there! I’m Dr. Zoie Torres, Board-Certified Acupuncturist and Clinical Herbalist. I’m the other side of Lina East that’s part science, part art, and all heart. With over 18 years in holistic health, I blend my expertise in acupuncture, herbal medicine, and both Eastern and Western approaches to create a healing experience that’s as unique as you are. Whether you’re dealing with chronic symptoms, musculoskeletal mysteries, or just want to feel your best, I’m here for you.
My journey started out as a massage therapist (and yes, I still have the best elbow in the business), then took me through nuclear medicine, diagnostics, and all the way to Traditional Chinese Medicine. Patients call me "The Mechanic" for my knack at fixing what others can’t, and you’ll find my exam room a safe & welcoming space where you can laugh, heal, and maybe even learn a little thing or two about food on the side. When I’m not with patients, I’m probably hitting up the pool, soaking in a tub, or walking along the beach.

Dr. Reinerio Linares MD
Medical Consultant
Dr. Reinerio Linares, MD, is like the godfather—working quietly behind the scenes. When complex services are needed, he appears with a smile and an (often unwanted) dad joke.
Reinerio works full-time at his own practice, Linares Wellness Center, overseeing his patients with trusted, heartfelt care. His specialties are Pulmonary Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Sleep Medicine.
You can often catch him trying to reheat his cold cup of coffee, always ready with a dad joke!
Manuel Linares
Medical Assistant
Keeping things in the family at Lina East, Manuel is our newest team member, working alongside Dr. Reinerio as his medical assistant. Energetic and dedicated, he is quickly rising through the ranks, providing IV therapy while continuing his education in pursuit of a nursing degree.
Manuel always keeps everyone laughing and feeling young as our unofficial mascot—a spunky, sparkling ball of charisma and fun.
