Hey there! I’m Dr. Sofia Linares, founder of Lina East Acupuncture. As a Board-Certified Acupuncturist and Clinical Herbalist (licensed in Florida and nationally certified), my heart is dedicated to helping you take an active, empowered role in your health.

I started Lina East to bridge the gap for folks who feel left out or dismissed by mainstream medicine. So often, patients come to me frustrated after being told their labs are "normal," even though they are struggling with painful or irregular periods, stubborn hormone imbalances, fatigue, anxiety, or digestive issues. I’m here to tell you: your symptoms are real, and you don’t have to settle for just getting by.

My mission is to give generously to my patients through highly customized care plans, focused in root-cause medicine, TCM dietetics, lifestyle therapies, and practical preventative tools. Known around the clinic as a bit of a "Witch-Doctor" (a title I wear with pride!), I love blending the art and science of Chinese herbalism to craft tailored teas, formulas, and botanical remedies made specifically for your unique body. When I’m not in the clinic crafting custom teas, I’m immersing myself in life; salsa dancing, paddle-boarding, painting, and creating ceramics. I bring that same creative energy, warmth, and color into my clinical practice every single day.
